Welcome to The Longest Road, an intimate exploration of generational healing—where memory, reflection, and medicine converge. This is a story about what we inherit, what we release, and the quiet courage it takes to transform pain into freedom.

The Longest Road follows four generations of Soviet Jewish women shaped by survival, sacrifice, and silence. When Sasha Perelman's family fled the USSR in 1979 as religious refugees, they carried more than luggage—they carried wounds that would echo across decades.
In a plant-medicine retreat deep in the Mexican jungle, Sasha enters the uncharted territory of her own inheritance. Through sacred ceremony, she confronts her mother's death, her grandmother's hardened love, and the intricate web of mother-daughter bonds passed down through pain and resilience.
This is more than a story of immigration or survival. It is a reckoning — with history, with family, with self. And it asks the question every generation eventually faces: what do we keep, and what do we finally release?
